My Music App Story
If you saw someone singing and humming to their iPhone, it was probably me:
As an avid music lover, I have a lot of tunes running through my head. I can never remember the name of the song. In 2008 when the iPhone version of Shazam came out, I discovered that Shazam only knows how to sample original studio performances that are played to it from electronic audio devices such as a radio. Detecting humming or partial singing of the user is not possible at all.
After a wile I realized another thing:
Favorite songs are usually remembered by pieces of information such as lyrics, style, language & more. All of these can put together a puzzle that will allow the new app to find the song. Our app allows an easy solution in one tool.
People who have a song in their head will be happy to locate its name in one app that will centralize all the search tools, including buzz. For them, Shazam and the other apps are no longer relevant.
